Advance Directives

Advance Directives record your views on what medical treatment you will receive at the end of your life. They are appropriate where you don’t want to create a Lasting Power of Attorney (Health & Welfare) to appoint someone to make specific decisions for you, but you still want to have your views about certain treatment taken account of by healthcare professionals. A valid Advance Directive must be followed by healthcare professionals.

We understand that this is a delicate subject. Please contact one of our Wills & Probate team for more information.
